Algebraic functions

An Algebraic function is a function constructed from polynomials using the algebraic operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and taking roots.

The main types of algebraic functions are

Exponential functions

Functions that can be expressed in the form f(x) = a^x, a > 0 and a ≠ 1 are called exponential functions. The domain of an exponential function is (−∞, ∞) and its range is (0, ∞).
