Rules of Interjections:

  • When interjection is used in the beginning of a sentence, a comma should follow it.
  • When an interjection forms a sentence by itself, a full stop, a question mark or an exclamation mark can follow the interjection.

List of some common examples of interjections:

  • Hey!
  • HI!
  • Oh!
  • Ouch!
  • Ugh!
  • Whoops!
  • Wow!
  • Yuck!
  • Phew!
  • Uh-Oh!
