Uncountable Noun: Uncountable nouns are used for things we cannot count using numbers.

Examples

• I love drinking milk.
• My dog loves to play in the rain.
• He has a hard time controlling his anger.
• They share some kind of history.

Countable and uncountable nouns can be divided into the following two types:

• Concrete Noun
• Abstract Noun

Concrete Noun: These nouns are things that you can touch, see smell, taste and hear. For example, door, horse, knob, water, cars, shoes, etc.

Abstract Noun: These nouns are used for things that you cannot touch or see. For example, rule, name, lessons, safety, happiness, health, love, etc.
